The world WILL end on December 21, 2012. Enjoy your last full year of living everybody! Only the earth will be decimated in this cataclysmic event, so if we all move to a new planet we will survive. The moon will not save us because it evolves around the earth. Mars, and the other planets will serve a better home. Good luck to all of you!

I have a 9-mil under my pillow (Stupid gangsters), an AR-15 in my closet, and around 2 bricks of .9

I have a bat, some high powered airsoft guns, and 3 of my friends

working on a battle wagon currently. Picking up a 1991 Crown Victoria Station wagon, welding some steel plates onto the side and adding some KC lights to the top. Its going to be perfect.

And then a meteor smashes into the earth and everyone's ammo and weapons storage plans are completely foiled.

Yes, the world could end in 2012. Haven't you noticed all of the earthquakes? Something may be happening underneath our feet that we know nothing about.

***Edit: But use your common sense, there is not a meteor large enough to destroy a planet, a meteor is a meteoroid that entered the Earth's solar system sized from a grain of sand to a big boulder, no.
So ahem.... If an asteroid is large enough (20+ miles in diameter) most life on earth would be gone within a couple months. But, it would take an asteroid the size of Mars to completely annihilate Earth's population.
The sun isn't going to die out for a pretty long time, that's probably not it either.
And people have said that the worlds going to 'END IN 6/6/6 OMG !!!!' for generations.

Ahem, me and my family are prepared if shit hits the fan.
We have a bunch of guns... A shotgun that we hollowed out so it holds 15 rounds, SKS Assault rifle w/ piercing rounds, .45 handgun, 9mm handgun, .357 thingy, a hummer, assloads of food/water, shitloads of ammo, many supplies, and friends who live in Utah (they also have a bunch of guns and supplies). But many of these things are at our other house.
So, we would basically go to Utah and pray that god would save us. =)

Another theory is that we go with war with China. Now that would be the end of the world.

Without oil and coal, we have no means of transportation so work, food, and tourism is gone.
Without work, no money, so people won't be able to pay for things and crime will happen in the streets. No hospitals, no every day necessities.
Without food, all will go to hell.
Without tourism, redirect to work.
China and Israel will be protecting whats left of their oil, they may go to nuclear weapons, causing nuclear fallouts (nuclear weapons leave a trail of radiation that falls to the surface of the Earth). Whoever is lucky, that survived, will be killed off soon because without anyone running the nuclear plants, they will soon explode wiping out thousands of acres of land (that is, if no one turns them off) and medical items will perish. Earth will soon go to hell, and the rest of the human species will die out. When they all die out, Earth will turn back to what it was
before homosapians came.
